Stelios officially launches easyVan.com

Stelios, the serial entrepreneur, is continuing to bring better value to consumers with the today’s launch of easyVan.com. The new business offers consumers low cost van hire with a range of five different sizes of vehicles to suit the requirements of most private customers. Research has shown that UK customers require short term van rental for activities like moving house, collecting furniture, transporting household items, helping students in and out of university accommodation and completing DIY projects.

The business has launched with more than 100 locations across the UK and has a similar business model to that of easyCar.com, another easyGroup business. This means easyVan.com acts as the Van Rental Company and is responsible for the website, marketing and customer services, while the actual vehicles are provided by a range of quality suppliers from the individual rental locations. Some of the vehicles will feature the easyVan livery.

Van hire was originally launched last year on the easyCar.com website as a pilot project. Sales grew so rapidly that easyVan has now been launched as an individual business aimed at private consumers. With a well-known brand, a wide range of vans and a national network of quality rental suppliers, easyVan is planning to become one of the biggest nationwide suppliers of van rental direct to consumers.
